Where do we go from here?
Since its foundation McHenry County has housed a variety of artists. This collection is a small sample of individuals who have used their talents to touch others—from neighbor to a stranger on the other side of the earth.
The complete story of the artists of McHenry County is one far too detailed and beautiful to contain in a single exhibit. Rather, it is something that must be experienced.
So, what can you do?
If interested, take up an art. Maybe you have never tried painting, or acting on stage. Perhaps you knew how to play an instrument, but have forgotten. Take the chance to try something new.
If the idea of creating art makes you shiver, then consider participating as an audience member. McHenry County is full of galleries and theaters, each with its own variety of artists and styles.
Remember, you are never too old or too young to join the arts.
